Days of Wonder with Andrea and Sára

It is a beautiful moment when our dresses seamlessly appear on two stunning women walking hand in hand in Stromovka Park. Right outside our Showroom, we have the good fortune to be by one of the most beautiful parks in Prague, and further touched to be in the same building as our good friend Andrea and her daughter Sara. Walking and chatting with them is captivating, uncanny their similarities. At times, it's impossible to tell them apart, how they finish each other's sentences, mimic gestures, or the slight glances from Sara as her mother attempts to make adjustments to her hair. These precious moments are a wonderful reminder of the timeless bond between mother and daughter.

Their personal styles are similar, yet small nuances separate them apart. Sara loves: "My Janja Prokic necklace given to me by my parents, this white dress and my beloved trainers.” While Andrea adopts a neat and functional wardrobe: “My personal style works within elementary rules - basic and practical. Now Port of Stars is bringing something completely new and unexpected into my style. Something more feminine but strong yet fragile at the same time.”

While Sara occupies herself with her baby sister Emilka, Andrea and I discuss the responsibility of motherhood: “I am now an observer of Sara growing, teaching myself how to be respectful and trusting but also grounded.” It is clear to see that this approach is working, guidance at a distance.

Soon we are back at the Showroom, where Sara tries on a few dresses and embraces the new feminine in herself. The Jane Dress's full skirts lend playfulness to her movement as she gathers and whirls around the space. The power of these beautiful dresses comes from the sense of freedom wearing them, and watching her spin makes a heady transition into youth and the power to embrace the moment.
