Collection 2/2019 “Season Edition”

Learning to grow our designs and idea, for our second collection, we focused on creating Kimono padded jackets, Kimono bombers, coats, and dresses. This collection is minimal as this is our first time producing warm garments with special care given to design and craft.

Detailed stitching and patchwork use of fabric conceived a unique feel to each piece, reworked and remastered with a relatable aesthetic. Combining vintage materials, Japanese denim, velvet accents, ribbon, and ties, aspiring to create a sense of Japanese Romanticism.

Pieces are hand-stitched and have been created especially to keep the unique nature of the fabric. Our main approach was to work with materials and textures that bring a unique sense to the designs.

Most of the fabric we sourced from leftover stock and pieces from our Designer's own collections. Shapes and styles are inspired by traditional patterns from Japan and Uzbekistan, where our Designer's experience really showcased her astute ability to combine traditional craft with a contemporary vision.
