Days of Wonder with Lucie Konigová
The early morning light is sacred, fleeting, and sublime. Walking through Prague with Lucie feels almost as you are stepping into an alternate world, where the emotion to the aesthetic takes the lead. Every living element is pulsating. We talk about morning rituals and poetry, how the days unfold into endless possibilities with the start of every sunrise and day fall. In her company, it is easy to be transported into the pages of her favourite poets, dreaming of Neruda’s words or Mary Oliver’s sense for the small.
“Poetry, just like any other form of art and actually meditation, to me is the art of presence, teases out many feelings we don’t normally acknowledge or let unravel, let alone greet and welcome, be it on paper or in our heart.”
As we journey through the empty streets, her body's captivating movement is accented by the Marianne Tunic that she ties and unties till she finds the perfect sense.
“I would compare Port of Stars' philosophy to Chandra Namaskar's - The Moon Salutation, that I love so much. With its gentle yet strong feminine energy and subtle and smooth flow, celebrating the very essence of life with an unassuming yet truly captivating power."
