Days of Wonder with Tereza Srbová
An afternoon spent with Tereza in her tiny, charming apartment is full of surprises and treasures. Her love of books, movies, and music is apparent in every corner, but what creates the serenity are her small objects dotted around that all hold stores and memories from her love and life. “I have small collections of treasures given or found, but I cherish most my unusual engagement ring designed by my husband, photographs and albums of my family and wedding dress.”
Resembling more a nest above the trees looking onto Zizkov tower, Tereza’s Prague home becomes her sanctuary. “My life is divided between several countries; rituals are a huge grounding aspect of my everyday life. I love my long quiet morning, enjoying a cup of green tea while reading online articles, yoga stretches, or just quietly sitting and reflecting on whatever is happening at that moment in my life.”
She is excited to share her most recent find, Herman Hesse’s - Siddhartha in Czech, with an inscription. “ I get guidance through reading. Great books expand my consciousness and shift my point of view.”
With her background as a model and a muse, she has worked with many international design houses. She has a solid approach to fashion: “Simplicity, quality and some kind of intelligence in fashion would be my go-to wardrobe. My outfits are an extension of my values, I guess”. More recently streamlining her wardrobe and reworking her beloved pieces back into her daily life.
