Days of Wonder with Zuzana Lednická
As you enter into Zuzana's world, you step into a life of imagination and sensuality. Her work as a graphic designer is inspired by everything she encounters, and her thirst for indulgent daydreaming becomes the focus of our conversation. She draws parallels between reality and fantasy as a means of daily practice, which enriches her life and instills her sense of feminine intuition.
"My work as a creative and graphic designer is linked to my life, I consciously maintain a passion for both. The ability to travel and experience the world, or sit still in my own small corner in my garden with my imagination".
In a rare moment, she opens her home to the possibility of exploration and conversation. Sharing a glass of wine, laughing at the endless thought for life beyond reality. There is a strong sense of spirited adventure and freedom, and for a while, we can both sit back and let our imagination take hold. "I suppose I'm a little addicted to desire. If I don't have it, I will create it".
We talk about the idea, a concept more than the concrete material. She talks about her pieces from Port of Stars as ignitions for this dreaming. "Port of Stars mirrors my hidden woman and desire to become her for a while." It's a departure to her more minimal style, but she justifies that even though she doesn't wear some of the pieces often, their mere existence in her wardrobe creates the possibility for her to dream of an escape into a parallel world.
